As silly as it may sound, it is even important to prepare to fail! I can plan all of my meals and workouts for the week, but if I don't actually begin preparing them ahead of time there is room for me to say "Well today I am too tired too.... [ fill-in-the blank ]." The good news is that you can prepare for those situations by having a quick go-to backup option!
- Write down your most frequently used excuses for not living a healthy lifestyle.
- Come up with ways to prevent yourself from using these excuses.
- Brainstorm ways to help yourself be prepared ahead of time.
- Don't forget to "prepare for failure" or in other words have a backup plan!
